Father!!!!!!

Thank You for tonight, this Thanksgiving. Thank you for the fellowship and good food, the movie Invictus, the jamming out with fam and even chillin' with strangers. Father, I thank You for blessing me with a nice, simple Thanksgiving, which brought out a better time than I was expecting =D. Thank You Jesus for this Thanksgiving.

Father, I pray for my brother Jerry. You are doing such wonderful things inside of Him! And so excited I am then for the great things that You will do through him! I praise You for my brother and I thank You for the love that You have poured out to me through our friendship and community. Father, tomorrow is his doctor's appointment. He is nervous about it and I pray that You would him with peace. Would Your peace guard his heart and his mind in Christ Jesus. Would he go forth in bold confidence for he knows who is behind him, ahead of him, on his side, with him. Christ Jesus, Holy Spirit, You promise Your Presence. Never will You leave Jerry or forsake him! So I pray that in this moment, You would bless Jerry with peace and fretlessness. Please Father. Worry is not of You. You call us to not be anxious about anything, and Jesus when You walked this earth, You asked "Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?" You say "Do not worry about your life." So would Jerry not worry about his life. And I know that when you were speaking you were talking about food and drink and clothing, but I believe You do not mean for us to worry about anything. I pray that You would bless Jerry with peaceful sleep Lord; may he trust You. Take his mind and touch it Lord. Touch it, and he will be healed. I ask in the Name of Jesus that You would heal Jerry Kay Shriver of his disease. You are the Great Healer; please heal Your son Lord Jesus. You say "Delight yourself of the LORD and He will give you the desires of your heart." It is my desire for Jerry to be healed. So please heal him Lord. Be with Jerry as he hears what the doctor says; never leave him that whole time he is there, may he feel You with him. Hallelujah Lord Jesus. Please may Jerry rest well tonight and wake up in time for his appointment tomorrow. And would he wake up without a mind of worry. Touch his mind Lord. And in all things, may the will of the LORD be done. Hallelujah, praise Yahweh. In the Name of Jesus the Christ I pray in faith, Amen.

Father God, I also pray for my brother Neil. I thank You for him! Thank You for his heart for You and his love for You. Thank You for his desire to please and serve You with all of him. Father, I pray for my brother, that he would enjoy You. I pray that he would receive Your blessings and take hold of Your grace Lord God. I thank You that Your love pours about so much, that it poured into his sharing of the gospel with his mother. Father, would that seed not go unplanted or tended to! Water, till the soil, reap fruit from the tree seed that You have sent out. Soften Neil's mom's heart so that she would be receptive to You. Show her Your love; show her, as You showed the Samaritan woman at the well Jesus, that You are the only One who satisfies and quenches her thirst. Secure her sense of identity in You Lord Jesus, for You are the only constant and the only Thing that can fill the void inside of every man. Hallelujah Jesus! I praise You for the day that Neil's mother comes to Christ! I rejoice with my brother Neil when he hears the GREAT news of her salvation! Hallelujah! Save Neil's father as well Lord; use Neil and his mother as a guiding light to Christ Jesus <3. In You Name Father I pray! Amen.

Father, Holy You are. The earth is filled with Your glory. Your intelligence, creativity, and attention to detail is evident for all to see. Father, You tell Your people in Your Word that Your thoughts are higher than my thoughts and Your ways are higher that my ways (Isaiah 55:9). Father, help me to embrace all of You as You have embraced all of me. I am going through a little bit of the feeling of resentment toward the fact that I was born into sin even though I did choose to be born into sin. I had no desire for it to be in my nature. And Lord, every time I think about that, how frustrated I am because of it and I feel farther away from You. Help me Lord! Help me to embrace You and to embrace Your ways. May I trust in Your character even when I do not understand why things are the way they are. You are just and You are right and I cannot live without Jesus. Adam brought sin into the world, and it became a part of our human nature, but Jesus has given me a new nature, one that is not governed by sin but by the Christ's sacrifice. I love You Lord and I do not want to stop loving You. Help me Father.

Today, would every thing be in submission to You. And would everything be for the glory of Your Name. Praise Yahweh.

In the Name of Jesus,
Amen.

Tracy Sun

Father, glory be to You forever and ever Amen!

I pray for my sister Tracy. Father, she is swamped with work! She is constantly busy. I pray that You would direct her and guide her. I pray that You would give her sight on what's important and that You would not allow for You to be put on the back-burner and lost behind the stress and worry of schoolwork. Father, please give her rest and open up her eyes. Settle her in You and do not allow Satan to put a cloud over her eyes and in her spirit. I praise You Father; please keep saving Your daughter.

In Christ's Name, Amen.

Prayers for the Thristy

Father, I pray for people. People who do not yet know You, people who do not know that they are deeply and thoroughly loved. You urge us through Paul in 1 Timothy 2 to pray fr all people. We should ask You to help them. It is pleasing to You because You want everyone to be saved and to understand the truth. You gave Your life to purchase freedom for everyone.

So Lord, I pray for those who do not yet know You. I pray that You would reach Randy Singh with the truth of Your gospel -- really reach Him Father. May He know that Your love covers all sins and would he not fight to keep the person that he is right now. Help him to let go of himself and surrender everything to you Lord Jesus. Light of the world, penetrate the darkness within him.

I pray for Mike Hwang. Would he search for the water that will quench his thirst. Thirst for closeness and love, thirst for fulfillment. Would You halt his chase after things that do not satisfy and break through his deafness. Tear the veil the shields him for from the understanding that his contentment and fulfillment will only come once he's in relationship with You Jesus. Deepen his emptiness and discontent with the things that the world claims will satisfy and present Yourself to him as the One who quenches all thirst, satisfies all desires, gives true purpose and meaning to our lives.

Lord, I pray for Nehemiah also. His name means "Comforted by Jehovah." I pray Father, that You would truly fit that role in his life. At the moment, You are not his God. But Lord, I know that You are mighty to save. You save everyone, people of all types. You save the ones whom no one would ever believe could come to know Christ as Lord and Savior! And so even though I suspect Nehemiah to be an atheist, is there anything to hard for the Lord (Jeremiah 32:27, Genesis 18:14)? Save him Father! It is Your Will anyway! I pray this in Christ's Name, so let it be so!

And Father, I pray for Paige. She has questions, she thinks deeply. Bless and gift her with the knowledge of the glory of Jesus Christ. Show her why You are the Chosen One, the Messiah. Show her the reality of Your existence, bless her with the truth of Your LOVE and who You are. Hallelujah. Guide her straight to You Father. And may nothing stand in Your way of making her a daughter of the King! I praise You in advance and am excited for the sisters in Christ that we will be! Hallelujah, Amen!

All these things I pray in the Name of Jesus -- the Name that brings peace, breaks strongholds, through the nations into uproar, and which conquered death. In Your Name I pray Lord,

Amen! Let it be so!

10:46 am
At the cross I bow my knee
Where Your blood was shed for me
There's no greater love than this
You have overcome the grave
Your glory fills the highest place

What can separate me now?

Lord, help me to remember that You are the greatest love story ever told
The greatest love ever known
Help me to see that the things that I go through in this life are light momentary afflictions, preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison (2 Corinthians 4:17).

There is no greater love than this.

Hallelujah.

Father, I offer praises of thanksgiving. Thank You for what You are doing inside of me. Thank You for renewing my inner self day by day (2 Corinthians 4:16). Help me to not lose heart, Hallelujah. I pray that the death of Jesus would be present in me, so that others may see the life of Jesus and be saved. In my darkness, my suffering, my affliction, may the glory of God be so obvious that people are moved to know Christ Jesus. To know Christ Jesus. Conocer, not ser. Help me to hold on to You. Develop in me a contentment in who You are Father. Let it be so.

Lord, I need You.

Please remove the apathy, the lack of motivation, the great passivity. I feel like I'm going through the motions. I don't want to do anything. Everything feels like a burden Lord. Please help me, give me joy in You, peace in You. Teach me, guide me, root me in Your love. Help me to persevere and endure, even with these feelings. Word I not dishonor You with my laziness. Would I glorify You with my best in my schoolwork and with how I steward my time. Hallelujah Jesus. Help me to encourage myself in You. In Christ's Name I pray, Amen.

Lord, I pray for Lauren and Katlyn who will be leading small group tonight. I pray that it would grow in the direction You want it to go. I pray that people would begin to open up and share what they discover when they read Your Word. I praise You for the highs and for the lows; keep them humble Lord, so they would continue to look to You but encourage their hearts as they lead. I pray that Your grace would cover them and that they would praise You for what You are doing in small group. I thank You for calling them to lead in this capacity; would You bless them with joy as they serve and obey You. Strengthen them, guide them, uphold them with Your Righteous Right Hand. And would they grow. I pray for their members, that they would grow in their understanding of who You are through Bible Study, prayer, and community. I pray that Your Word would not return void Lord Jesus. Hallelujah! Do AWESOME things, more than we can ask or even think, through this CIW small group!!! Let it be so Lord Jesus!

AMEN.
Dear Lord, I pray over this broadcast. Would people be lead to You through this. I pray for Dave. Please speak through him. Hallelujah! I thank You for this opportunity. May people understand more of who You are through this broadcast. Would You hit hearts. Would there be honesty, questions, would You prick minds and hearts. Hallelujah. Have YOUR Way with this broadcast dear Lord. Amen.

Janice Everest

Lord Jesus,

Thank You that You're real. Thank You that You keep Your promises. Thank You for hearing the requests of Your people and for taking control of the Bible discussion. Hallelujah. Would I grow in fondness of You and trust in You Lord.

When my world is shaking, Heaven Stands. When my heart is breaking, I never leave Your Hands that shape the world.

Lord, I pray for Janice Everest. I pray that she would know the LOVE of Christ. That You would show her that she does not have to offer her body to anybody. That the brokenness in her, You would heal. Pour out Your love Lord. Would she give her soul and her body to You Father. Transform her and draw her close to You. Hallelujah. You are mighty to save, and I pray, in the Name of Jesus, that You would save her. Hallelujah. May God's Love be all she desires. Amen.
Lord, I am struggling. Help me to put my hope in You! Would I not be anxious over anything. Would the spirit of worry not rule me Father. Would Your peace guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus for the rest of today and this week. Would I know in my heart and be aware of the fact that You are with me; wherever I go, in whatever I do, I have the Father with me. When my world is shaking, You stand. When my heart is breaking, I never leave Your Hands. I pray for contentment in Your unfailing love oh Lord. Hallelu Yahweh. Amen.

Prayer of a Saint

One thing I have realized:

There are sooo many things to pray about!

So to document them so that 1) I will not forget to pray for my brothers and sisters in Christ and 2) so that I can document how God is answering prayer, I created a new blog see?

Tah-dah.

So, those that I will intercede for later today:

Shinelle Simms - That God would transform her life and make her hungry for Him.
Ismatu - 1. That God would meet her in the dryness of her walk with Him, through community and one on one time. 2. That she would not worry about fundraising for NYCUP and that God would provide.
Kimala - That God would heal her of PTSD and bless her with people who will care for her and not reject her.

Lord, thank You for the God that You are. Thank You that You are wiser than man and Sovereign over all creation. Thank You for choosing to be gracious and merciful to those who love you and even to those who don't. Praise Yahweh for His pursuit of the lost sheep. Lord, I pray for the success of this prayer journal. I have a tendency to start and stop, start and stop blogging and to not finish things out through to the end. But Lord I pray against that inconsistent spirit. I pray for the desire to PRAY for my brothers and sisters in Christ and for those who do not know You yet either. Even if I cannot get to a computer, may I pray. You hear and honor my words and listen to them at any time; may I make good use of that gift and not take prayer lightly. Please deepen my respect for prayer and my desire to commune with You through it; may I not always talk but listen as well. I thank You Jesus for hearing my prayer and honoring my words. In the Name of Jesus the Christ, the Name in which transforming things happen, I pray,

Amen.
